Please join us for a conversation with Jack Clancy, CEO of Enterprise Bank.  Jack will discuss his career with the bank, which he joined at its founding.  He will touch upon the highlights of the bank’s growth, share his insights on a successful career in banking leadership, and he will provide a glimpse into the future of Enterprise Bank. Bring your questions to this interactive session. The session will be moderated by Michael Gallagher, Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of Enterprise Bank. 

About Our Speaker: 

Jack ClancyJack Clancy was appointed as the CEO of Enterprise Bank in 2007. He joined Enterprise Bank as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer during its founding in 1988. Enterprise Bank is headquartered in Lowell, MA with 26 offices throughout the Merrimack Valley, Essex, and North Central regions of Massachusetts, and across Southern New Hampshire.

The Bank’s “people first” philosophy has been a foundational pillar of its culture since George Duncan founded the bank in 1988. As a testament to the Bank’s commitment to their people-first philosophy, The Boston Globe has recognized Enterprise Bank as an employer of choice for the past 10 years.

Jack has held numerous community board and advisory positions over the years and currently serves as a board trustee and chairperson of the finance committee at Lowell General Hospital, as a member of the Tufts Medicine finance committee, as a member of the Lowell Plan board of directors and executive committee, as chairperson of the board of directors and a member of the finance and compensation committees at Massachusetts Housing Partnership, and as a board member and member of the compensation committee at the New Hampshire Bankers Association.
Jack received his bachelor’s degree in Management/Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and completed the Advanced Management Program in General Leadership and Management at Harvard Business School.

Jack is a lifelong resident of the Greater Lowell area and has close personal ties to the communities the bank serves. Jack and his wife Ann are the proud parents of three children and grandparents to four grandchildren. Some of Jack’s personal interests include, first and foremost spending time with family, gardening, hiking, biking, yoga, golfing and traveling.

About our Moderator:

Mike GallagherFor the past 19 years, Mike Gallagher has worked at Enterprise Bank in Lowell, MA and currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. Mike has worked in banking for the past 33 years, and prior to that worked in public accounting for 10 years.

Mike has served as a director of the New England Chapter of RMA for the past seven years. He served as the ERM chairperson for the New England Chapter, participated on the RMA CLC Planning Committee, and previously served as the New England Chapter President and Vice President. Mike previously served as chair of the NH Bankers Risk Management Committee and previously served on the Community Bank Advisory Council for the CFPB.

Mike received his undergraduate from Merrimack College, his MBA from Suffolk University, and graduated from the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Justice of the Peace.

In his spare time, Mike spends time with his wife and two boys and enjoys running and biking, and currently sits on the board for three local nonprofit organizations. Mike currently resides in Pelham, NH.
